The ETG group would like to focus much of our work towards what we like to call “Production Capability(PC)”. The work of PC will help us prepare for teaching/research activities.

Use of this UofC-ETG wiki page will help organize out tasks in a manor similar to the “To-DO” list type method. Using this method allows our group to focus and accomplish our goals in a timely manor.

Tasks are divided into three main areas:

Administration PC-Tasks: Those tasks related to the general operation of the department infrastructure. This such as modifications of teaching areas, main office, etc. General moving tasks of office space or lab space as required of ECE management. Cleaning, upgrade and repair of technical work space to offer better work flow when less time is available for this type of activity.

Teaching PC-Tasks: Often new teaching approaches involving technical development are tasked out during this time of year. In addition existing teaching hardware have regular required maintenance procedures to ensure top operational performance.

Research PC-Tasks: During summer hours more time is available for research activities, thus technical research work remains a high priority activity. Some tasks presented may take on a personal interest jointly approved and published, involving direct research with technologists, academics and/or their graduate students.
